New Things In My Sephora Sale Cart

Oct 31, 2024

The Sephora 20% off sale begins tomorrow for Rouge VIBs. I’ve been limping by with sample product for a few weeks, waiting to restock my essentials until I could do so at a discount. So this sale could not come soon enough.

For the list of all the products I use regularly, check out my ShopMy page. Some of these don’t need to be restocked right now, but I will buy a second of a few to have in reserve. As for the rest of my cart, let’s talk about the new products that I added to my “love list” in anticipation of the sale.

01. PTR Instant Reveal Peel // My skin is struggling through a postpartum, peri-menopausal era. I have neither the time nor the money to visit the aesthetician for pricey treatments, so I asked a dermatologist if there was any OTC product that she would recommend. This peeling solution from Peter Thomas Roth was her suggestion, it contains glycolic acid, niacinamide and hyaluronic acid. She said it won’t mimic the peel you get from a dermatologist, but it will decongest pores and improve texture and discoloration. So if you’re looking for an improvement you can do at home, this product is worth a try.

02. Iris & Romeo Best Skin Days // Wearing makeup almost every day helps me feel a bit more like myself. That doesn’t mean that I want to wear a full face of foundation every day; that’s just not practical. Best Skin Days comes highly recommend. It’s a tinted moisturizer that is whipped to feel lighter on the skin. The product also has SPF, Vitamin-C, and collagen, and gives a dewy, luminous finish. I picked up a sample before dropping this on my list, and I was happy with a light coverage foundation that looked natural.

03. Fresh Black Tea Eye Cream // It’s time for an eye cream. I’ve just used night cream for years, sporadically trying eye creams and being disappointed in the results. So I’ve decided to try this Black Tea Eye Cream because I love the moisturizer from the same brand. It has retinol for wrinkles and wild ginger to reduce darkness and puffiness.

04. Dior Forever Glow Filter // Sarah at My Sister Made Me Buy It convinced me to purchase this Dior Glow Star Filter. Her before and after photos using this product sold it. The luminous quality it gives her skin is incredible. Given that I feel a little blah about my skin right now, I’m really excited about this product.

05. Makeup by Mario Master Mattes Palette // I’ve been using the same eye shadow combinations for five or six years. This Makeup by Mario palette has a lot of fantastic, deep colors and some wonderful light neutrals. It gives me several new colors to try without having to buy multiple products.

Is there anything you’re looking forward to from the sale? Leave your essentials and new purchases in the comments.

The Dior Glow Star Filter reminds me of SuperGoop Glow Screen. I love how it gives my skin some life in the winter, while providing 40SPF!

I am obsessed with the Black Tea eye cream! Great choice. I’m 39 and have used it off and on for a few years now. My under eye looks great.

  3. Jill says:

You got me hooked on the Ouai Volume Spray, but it seems to be discontinued! Have you found a replacement?

Can the Best Skin Days be applied with fingers or does it require a brush/sponge? I’ve been looking for something light and moisturizing that I can throw on for lazy days since my old fave, Dr. Jart Premium Beauty Balm, changed their formulation and my skin’s become drier.
