I’ve long loved a soft, knit topper. Be it a cardigan with a bit more structure or a blazer with a bit less, these softer jackets are a great option for the office or work from home. Basically, if you need to be comfortable while wearing professional layers, these knit jackets are for you. Here are a few great options.
This NVLT Relaxed Blazer is a great option. I just wish it came in neutral colors.
This Grace Karin Coatigan is an affordable option that comes in several colors.
MM LaFleur pioneered the Jardigan, and while they have several styles, their classic Woolf Jardigan is my absolute favorite.
I bought this Senllen Patch Pocket Jacket and it does not disappoint, especially for this price.
This affordable pique option that looks like a “real” blazer is from BR Factory.
Finally, I love the textural elements on this J.Crew Factory lady jacket, which is also available in plus-sizes and several other colors.

These are all great! FYI for readers, the Sennllen jacket is a Sezane dupe. LOFT also has a version this season. Lots of material and price options to choose from!
Could you post/talk about your shopping and dressing habits as someone who works mainly from home? It seems like a lot of people are going back to the office but I am fully remote and don’t see that changing. I don’t want to spend a ton of money on clothes but also don’t want to look like a gremlin every day. How would you approach a new season?
I’d love a “how-to” on styling the Lady Jacket (or similar cardigan). I wanted to try with trouser-style jeans and the look was just very… boxy.
I would love this type of post, too.
Same! And I’ve purchased several of them! Sometimes J Crew shows a bralette for the styling…not working with either my job or body type!
