This Ciela dress is my favorite work piece I own right now. MM gifted it to me for an event I co-hosted, but I loved it so much, I bought the plum one this morning.
It’s a little stretchy. It’s super comfortable. The ruching makes it very flattering. And a sleeve? I mean, it’s basically perfect. Available up to size 20, runs a bit small compared to Ann Taylor, comes in several colors.
This Annika silk tee looks great worn casually or professionally. It’s also washable and comes in a selection of prints and solids.
This Gwen dress is a fantastic, modern work dress. It can also be worn as a topper or coat. Comes in a handful of colors.
I own this Nejvi soft wave top. It’s a great blouse to wear solo because it has some drama to it. It also looks great layered. Comes in several colors.
And, of course, to round out the post, my favorite (ever) Emily dress. You can wear this to anything from casual brunch to dinner to work. The a-line shape is really lovely and the square neckline is great.

I love that Gwen dress but want to note…it is SHORT on the model. Mid-thigh length is fine for a topper, hard to work with for a professional dress. Too bad because the colors and style are gorge-o.
I love that dress! Has anyone shorter than a model tried it on? I feel like on my 5’5 height maybe it would be a work acceptable dress length
Thanks for the recommendation on the Ciela dress. After your last post on it, I bought it to wear to an ABA dinner and received numerous compliments on it from people who have never commented on my wardrobe before. (The blue was sold out in my size, but I lucked out and found it on Second Act!) I found it ran true to size and the sleeve was perfect for wearing to an indoor air conditioned summer event.
Based on the recommendations from this blog, I have been an MM lafleur customer for 10 years now and majority of my work wardrobe is from this brand. Off late, I feel their price point has gone up significantly and is make it a little out of reach for me.
I have the Nejvi top in black and it is amazing! I always get tons of compliments because it’s such a great shape. And it’s breathable fabric, comfortable, etc, literally everything you could want in a top.
