The Range: Visors for the Pool

Jul 31, 2024

A few weeks ago, I was traveling and spotted a woman lounging poolside who looked impossibly chic. Her woven visor was the perfect mix of beach casual and movie star glamour. Of course, it was Eric Javits, so my heart skipped a beat when I saw the price. Luckily, you can find this chic style in many price points.

Corner Office

Eric Javits Champ II Visor ($260)

Cubicle Farm

San Diego Hat Company Visor ($35)

Front Desk

Wal-Mart Roll Up Visor ($5)

The other nice thing about the visor style is that it rolls up, so you can easily pack it away.  Mine fits into the All Saints crossbody I’ve been carrying most days for spontaneous park trips or walks. (I don’t know why the photo makes the bag look so yellow.  The leather is darker in person.)

Okay I did it! I’ve fiddled with subpar straw/beach/pool visors for too long so I ordered both the Champ and the Champ II to try. Thank you for the recommendation! I will admit, it was around 5am when I couldn’t sleep haha. But I’m excited!!
