Bette Midler once famously said, “I want it all, and I want it delivered.” She is my soul sister.

Especially since Sloane was born, finding the time for an in-person Target or grocery run has been near impossible. Work is done at 5:30PM, her dinner needs to be on the table at 6:15PM, bath is at 6:45PM, Bed is at 7:30PM. And since most nights, I either find myself back in the office or blogging on the couch, the desire to fill my evenings with toothpaste and tchotchke shopping is not high.

This is why I am a very happy Amazon Prime customer. To reduce the environmental impact, I always select the fewest number of deliveries for my order and limit myself to one large order per week. But when I can buy the new socks I need, the mouthwash Kyle is always out of somehow, Sloane’s wipes, dog treats, and everything else at one time, I think that Bette would agree, there is a certain joy in that.

So here are the best purchases I’ve made on Amazon recently.

If you have a dog, you know what a pain it is to brush their teeth. Our dearly departed dog Sophie had a lot of cavities, and our veterinarian recommended these OraVet chews to support her oral health. You still have to brush the teeth (esp. the front ones), but these reduce the risk of cavities in areas that are difficult to brush.

Cutting back on brushing saved me a lot of time, and no one has had a cavity since. Plus, the dogs love these after dinner. Stella holds us hostage, barking persistently until she gets hers.

This Wacoal b.tempted Wire Free bra is awesome. I’m wearing it right now. After it arrived, I bought two more. I even bought one for a friend after she said all wire free bras were terrible. She just bought her second one.

Basically, it’s the only wire-free bra I have ever worn that doesn’t ride up. It has real support. It smooths that underarm/back fat bulge. My one buying note is that you need to consult the size guide and err on the side of it running a hair small.

Does your child like bubbles? This Rocket Bubble Gun makes so many bubbles. It’s like a snowstorm of bubbles. Your lungs will thank you.

I wanted a cell phone case that held an ID and a debit card, but I wanted one that was more discreet. This one from Anne Klein (of all brands) is a fantastic choice. I just wish it came in more colors. I also considered this Kate Spade case, which has a snap closed card case attached.

Ever been influenced? Happened to me. Grace Atwood convinced me I needed this sparkle maple syrup from Runamok because some things just spark joy.

What have you bought and loved on Amazon lately?

Did the oravet treats make their 💩 green? They did for my pup!

  2. KCM says:

Curious whether you can recommend a best STRAPLESS bra? Your bra recs tend to be on point but I’m still struggling for strapless!

I’m still looking for one for my “post pregnancy breasts.” When I find one, I will definitely write about it.

We get the sparkle syrup from King Arthur. 6YO loves her fairy dust pancakes.

Can you recommend a crossbody chain that could be used with the Anne Klein case? Thanks!

  5. Anna says:

Will this bra pick up my post-pregnancy, post-breastfeeding saggy boobs and put them somewhere closer to where they belong? That’s my biggest issue with wire-free and sports bras, as well as swimsuits right now.
