My Best Amazon Fashion Finds

Feb 28, 2024

One of the hallmarks of being middle-aged is buying your clothing in the same place you buy your groceries. For some people it’s Costco, for others it’s Target, for me, it’s Amazon. Yesterday, I opened a box that contained a bag of dog treats, gummy candy, a tin of olive oil and a dress. So in honor of all the busy adults ordering their pantry staples and clothing from the same retailer, here are my best recent Amazon fashion finds.

I ordered this Cotton Long Sleeve Tee a few weeks ago.  It’s thick, opaque, and comfortable.  Unlike many Amazon purchases, it runs true to size.  I’m a size 6-8 and the medium size recommendation was correct.  Definitely worth the $18.

These Felina Finesse Wrap Brief are as comfortable, as they are pretty.  As someone who loves to wear lingerie, but who has stopped since having a baby snatched my body positivity, these are the perfect solution.  They have full coverage, are stupid comfortable, and they look great.  The only complaint is that the cotton gusset could be larger, but is designed to be unobtrusive. You can buy single pairs here.  Sizes run TTS, up to 2x.

I wrote a review of this Anrabess Zip-Side sweatshirt a few weeks ago.  It’s thick, good quality, and looks stylish.  It’s a great alternative to Varley pieces that cost 4-6x more.  However, it runs very large.  I ordered a small and it fits oversized, so I would order an XS next time.

These Celesport socks are the best.  No questions asked.  I just had to order a few more pairs.  These ar a forever re-purchase.

Wait what was the dress you got? What kind of gummy candy? 🤣

On Abra’s recommendation a year or two ago, I purchased the socks for workouts. I like them a lot, and they’ve worn well.
I wear a size 10 shoe in womens, and the size small fit. I also bought them for my dad who wears a size 10 shoe in mens, and the medium sized socks fit him. These aren’t for people with small feet.

I prefer these socks too for working out. They have great cushion and look great with athletic shoes.

Another fan of the socks here! They are SO good I have a back up set tucked away out of fear that they will change in the future. Abra – the feetures socks you have also mentioned in the past are way superior to my bombas. Also an amazon purchase!

Would love any other lingerie suggestions like the briefs! Affordable and a bit comfy! Amazing

The Mondays: July 22, 2024

The Crowdstrike/Microsoft Meltdown forced me to take a few days off this weekend. No laptop. No billable hours. So we packed Sloane up for a visit to a local llama farm, stopped by the pool, went for coffee, etc. Few things are as funny as watching a 23-month old feed carrots to a ravenous rescue […]
