While most of my work days are spent in denim and slippers, I know that isn’t the case for every woman who reads this blog. With ‘return to the office’ in full effect for many lawyers, staffers, and corporate girlies, I would be remised if my own “workwear” needs pushed me to abandon the ladies walking those marble halls. Here are a few affordable blazers and jackets to spruce up your beloved basics.
This fringe jacket from Nic + Zoe is a great option for now and in the spring. Wear it over sheath dresses or with trousers. I like the soft green of this plus-size blazer. This misses size blazer has the same fringe style in navy blue.
Spice up a basic black blazer with this belted option from Mango. I like the belt for adding a bit of chic to the mix. Even though I don’t need blazers very often, I bought this one. I think it’ll look fantastic with a pair of wide leg jeans, silver heels, a camisole, and a big earring.
Since it’s January, I picked a few styles that easily work in other seasons. This tweed number from Mango definitely carries into spring and summer. (I also love the styling with the stripe picking out.) Prefer a wintery color? This olive tweed jacket has gold buttons and looks awesome with black trousers and a black top.
This windowpane tweed blazer is so chic. It gives this great Princess Diana vibe in a style that can be worn with business or business casual pieces. I love the lighter color palette so it works in winter and warm weather. In the summer, I’d wear this over a white dress with the sleeves pushed up.
This red cropped blazer from French Connection is so chic. I love it as part of a suit (wear it with a red blouse for maximum impact). It would also work with winter white pants and a coordinating blouse.
The color of this fired brick belted blazer from Eloquii is very chic. It looks great with all the fall colors. It would also look great with a printed top and jeans.

Thank you! I was a little bummed to think there wouldn’t be office workwear anymore, even though I totally get why. This post was welcome and awesome! Thanks!!!!
Of course, I’m going to divvy up the content 60/40.
I’m not sure if I’m sold on a cropped blazer – unless it is with a dress, perhaps?
A dress or higher waist pants. That’s the only way I can make it work.
