Best Purchases of 2023: The Shirt

Dec 20, 2023

Have you ever purchased an item of clothing and worn it the next day?  Then, talked yourself out of wearing it the day after that as well, only to find yourself wearing it the day after that?  This is that shirt.

I bought this Asymmetrical Shirt from Banana Republic on a whim.  The neckline takes this top from a t-shirt to something that you can wear anywhere.  The website calls it an “elevated” t-shirt, and I can’t think of a better description.

The material is a great medium weight.  The top fits true to size.  And I loved it in white so much, that I also bought it in green.  It’s currently 20% off.

Also, if you need a great v-neck t-shirt, they make one of those too.  It’s thick enough, drapes beautifully, and is perfect for layering.

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
