Top Picks from the Amazon Sale

Oct 11, 2023

Why is Amazon having a second Prime Day-esque sale?  I’m not sure, but when you discount items that I actually own, use and love, it is incumbent upon me to share them.  Here we go!

Okay, let’s start with the socks.  And I mean the socks.  I have purchased a lot of socks in my life.  Some were good, some were meh, some fell apart like a Kardashian during an interview, but these Celesport socks are great.  Thick, soft, comfortable, a dream really.

Do you have a child?  A pet?  A penchant for spilling soup on your work clothes like a magnet drew the splash to you?  Whatever your stain issues, Miss Mouth’s is here to save you.  This has pulled blueberry stains, bolognese spots, and more from Sloane’s onesies.  And if they can tackle one-year-old onesies, they can handle anything.

If you have wood flooring, you will be blown away by how much stuff lives in corners and along edges that you don’t typically see.  The Dyson V12 Detect shows you all of it, and cleans it right up.  There are many Dyson models on sale right now, but this one is the best deal at 30% off, and it’s an awesome vacuum.

With combination skin, adding moisture is a fraught concept.  But when the weather dries out in the fall, I need the extra hydration.  Farmacy’s Daily Greens oil-free gel moisturizer is the good stuff.  It’s light, hydrates well, and has no fragrance.

This television falls into the category of things every.single.influencer promotes and it can’t possibly be worth it.  But it is.  I love my Frame TV.  If you already have one, you can head over to my friend Sarah’s Etsy shop and buy art for it so you don’t have to pay Samsung their bounty to display great images on the screen.

I own this Renata dress from The Drop in two colors, but this off-white is my favorite.  It’s a very comfortable, easy sweater dress.  It looks great with boots and big jewelry.  It also looks good with sneakers and a denim jacket.

  1. Another Emily says:

Do you think The Drop dress would stretch for maternity sized up?

    • Belle says:

It’s not very fitted, so depending on how far along you are, yes. The last few weeks, probably not, that middle part, yes.

  2. Lauren W says:

I bought the socks per your recommendation a few months ago. Then got my boyfriend a set. And after we each got another set 🙂 They’re SO much less expensive than bombas and great quality.

  3. Becky says:

I got the sweater dress, and admittedly was a little worried since I have NEVER found one I liked, and it was.. perfect.

I styled it with a vest on top, leggings, and sneakers and felt put together but comfortable everywhere from kids’ tennis lessons to birthday parties, to a family bbq.

The Beauty Edit: Neck Creams

Nora Ephron was right: I feel bad about my neck. As I move through my forties, the creases have turned into chasms. The skin sags like a pair of sweatpants with aging elastic. It’s not great. But it’s just a natural part of getting older. Over the past year, it feels like I’ve tried every […]
