The Range: DSW F&F Sale Picks

Oct 5, 2023

If you’ve read this blog for a while, you know I don’t rush to shop a sale.  But when shoes in already discounted styles are 25% off, you have my attention.  If your shoes need a refresh, here are my picks from the DSW sale.

You do have to sign up for DSW’s VIP rewards program to access the 25% off code.  Signing up is free, and if you have kids, there are often coupons for additional saving on youth brands.  You can sign up here, and then use code Share25 at checkout.

I realized last weekend that I don’t have a black “going out” shoe.  I’m the non-drinker in my house, so I drive home from events, so I wanted something that I could walk and drive in.  These 2.75″ Nine West simple sandals were perfect.  If you want more height, they also make a 3.5″ style.

Because Mary Janes are back for Fall 2023, I wanted to look for a pair with some pop.  I found these silver Steve Madden shoes, and they would be so much fun with jeans or t-shirt dresses.

Another thing I like to do when there’s a sale like this is deal hunt.  A lot of times the best items are excluded from promos, but not always.  I click on the Shop Now button to see ALL of the option, and then, I sort by high-to-low price.  This let’s me see the splurges and hunt for a deal.

Doing that, I found these stunning Vince boots in wide calf and standard.  I also sent these Vionic sandals to my friend Hitha because they are perfect for her.  But the best find?  Christmas gifts for my husband.

Kyle loves Taft boots.  They’ve been featured in his gift guide multiple times.  DSW has so many styles in this sale including my favorite, the Jack Boot.  If you need a holiday gift for your partner, dad, brother, etc., Taft boots are an awesome option.

Another month has come and gone, and between a busy work schedule, illness and the search for new childcare, I almost forgot to ask for questions for the AMA.  Luckily, I remembered late last night.  So here we go. I always think it’s funny when people send rude or overly personal questions when I put […]

I love stocking stuffers.  They are the best part of Christmas.  There’s just nothing quite like an affordable gift that’s funny or useful or chic (or maybe all three).  So here is Part One of my stocking stuffer gift guides, where nothing costs more than $30.

Add to Cart: Five Recent Amazon Purchases

Since my daughter was born, Amazon has claimed so much of my money that I had to buy stock just to get some of it back.  Between the formula, onesies, fruit pouches, diapers, wipes, and ever evolving list of baby development gear, I could not survive without Prime.   My husband no longer notices the […]
