At 41, it might be time to accept that I’ll never be the girl who rolls out of bed with perfect hair, who only needs lipstick, or whose nails are always perfectly painted.  But maybe there’s still time to become the woman who looks impossibly chic in a simple button up and jeans.  Because this blouse makes it easy.

This striped shirt from Everlane comes in a silk cotton that gives it a perfectly relaxed look.  It’s so good that it’s sold out in many colors and sizes, but still available in the $88 organic option.  The grey is my favorite, but the blue stripe with the contrast collar is also fab in a 1990s Ralph Lauren kind of way.

To style, tie the front and wear with the perfect white pants and a sandal.  For the office, pair the blue option with a wide leg black pant.  The mixing of blue and black makes the look more interesting and modern.
