Shoe Week: A Warm Weather Work Shoe

Yesterday, I left the house and it was 60-degrees.  Sure, it snowed for an hour in the mid-afternoon.  But it was warm when I left.  Warm enough for a pair of spring/summer shoes.

These point toe wedges from Linea Paolo are a cool shoe for work this summer.  The wedge gives you support and comfort (in case, like me, you still feel like a baby giraffe on ice when you wear heels).  The buckle detail on the front gives the shoes a bit of interest, and I like that they also come in black.

Like the idea of wedges for work, but not this pair? These Bandolino open-toe wedges are a classic.  Nine West offers one with a bit more height.  For a closed toe, try these Kenneth Coles.  And for something different, I like these NYLA wedges with a knotted front.
