The Ensemble: A Chic Work Outfit

Jan 24, 2023

Anthropologie is a fantastic spot for finding unique pieces.  So when I need a cool piece with a little extra something, I always jump into their new arrivals.  This outfit combines a blouse that caught my eye with several other Anthro pieces to create a stylish work outfit.

These Adina Huggie Hoops are so pretty.

This striped blouse caught my eye because it’s the perfect blend of Ralph Lauren and Studio 54.  Wear it with denim, a suit, or tucked into a pleated skirt.  It’s a versatile piece that falls into any wardrobe.  Also in petite, plus.

These mid-price wide leg pants have a slight flare and sleek look.  They come in tall, petite and plus, so we can all enjoy them.

These slick Bernardo pumps have a thick heel for stability.  Wear them with the wider leg trousers to give you a long leg line.  Prefer a boot?  Try these Sarto Flexa boots.

Oooh yes to that shirt and the thicker heeled pumps! I don’t think I can pull off those pants, but the rest of this outfit is killer. Adding to my cart now! Thank you for this!

Loved this post! I’m really in need of a professional wardrobe refresh, so this is a big help. As always, appreciate that there are plus size options. Anthropologie is an interesting retailer- I appreciate their sizing is more inclusive, but have a hard time finding professional clothes there.

Beauty Review: Bondi Boost

As I age, I notice many changes in my body. Most are fine. Some are frustrating. Like many women, I lost a lot of hair in my postpartum phase. Being anemic for more than a year after, it didn’t grow back in to its former glory. So I’ve tried any number of shampoos, pills and […]

The Find: Shirts That Don’t Gape

I remember when Rochelle Behrens launched The Shirt — a button-down blouse with anti-gape technology (a patented internal button that keeps the look smooth). The idea seemed brilliant, but at the time, my bust didn’t require an extra button. One baby later, I understand the need for some extra security.
