Several years ago, suits with shorts came onto the scene. Magazines would talk about how great they would be for work. And all of us who need to wear suits to the office instantly thought, “Whose work?” So when I see a suit that actually can be worn to work, especially if it’s affordable, I have to share it.

This suit from Amanda & Chelsea comes with a Tweed Knit Blazer and Tweed Knit Skirt.  This is a great look for winter.  It’s a suit that’s slightly different, but still professional for work.  It’s also available in petite.

Amanda & Chelsea also offers other suit styles.  I also like this glen plaid style with a high low jacket and pencil skirt.  And many of the styles are available in petite as well.

These suits are great for Hill staff or attorneys who are just starting out.  They’re also nice for those of us who can afford a nicer suit but would like something more unique.
