Outfit Week: A Weekend Dinner Dress

Jul 22, 2022

I spotted this dress a few months ago, and I do not know how it is not sold out.  It is the perfect summer dress for a casual dinner with friends or for a relaxed date.  Let’s see how I would style it.

These chunky hoops are a great option for making a statement in a classic way.

I adore, just adore, this lace-button dress.  The details, the open work, the classic shape, the breezy style.  It’s the best.  I love the white, the olive color is also fantastic, and the black is a total classic.  It runs petite and tall, sizes 0 t0 20/22.

This leather ankle wrap sandal is a simple, classic sandal.  I love the Grecian feel.

I’ve been looking at this dress too! Any suggestions for a slip to wear under it? It’s very see through, but so gorgeous

it comes with a slip under it, but fair warning- it’s very short. I’ve considered getting another to replace it. Ultimately, for that reason i returned the white version, but have kept the black and olive.

THanks for letting me know that! I’ve been thinking of also getting the black one.. trying to justify owning 2!

The Find: A Versatile Sweater Jacket

It’s allegedly spring. However, for every minute of sunshine, there seems to be an hour of rain and gloom. So while I’d love to wear lighter spring pieces, it’s time to bring on the layers.
