  1. Allison says:

Can you speak to the sizing of those plastic birk knock offs? Love those for the pool!

    • Laurel says:

I bought them last summer and found them to be a bit small as did a friend of mine. We wear size 10 and 11 respectively, at the time half-sizes weren’t an option, but I would have sized up to 10.5 if I did it again.

    • Belle says:

I’m between sizes, I sized up.

  2. Kleigh says:

That mascara didn’t stand up to humidity for me. Hourglass and L’Oréal double extend are two tubing mascaras that do, though.

  3. Gemini says:

What’s the point in the police aren’t obligated to protect you link?

    • Belle says:

It’s a question I had, that I think other people might have, and I thought it was a good explainer of police’s legal duties for people who both agree and those who don’t.

  4. Nan says:

I always enjoy reading your headline quote. However, today’s quote made me remember a saying a friend of mine lived by. She would say it often and it always brought a smile.

The only pain in life should be Champagne!

    Enjoy and happy Friday!

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
