It’s not often that a look stops me completely in my tracks. So when I spotted this dramatic evening look on Hailey Bieber (yes, that Bieber), I knew I had to find a way to use it as inspiration for holiday party attire. Let’s go.
This Saint Laurent gown is truly stunning, but finding a similar duplicate would be impossible. So let’s break down the essential elements of Hailey Bieber’s look — v-neck, white, structured, chunky stack of bangles, deep burgundy lip. This, this is doable.
Sweater // Given that this is for a holiday gathering, I thought a white sweater might be a good choice. This one from Jardin Des Orangers has a pulled in waist and dramatic v-neck. For something in cashmere, White + Warren offers a similar faux wrap style. Prefer a simple v-neck? Banana Republic has you covered. Plus-size? Nasty Gal has a similar style.
Skirt // I chose a skirt for this outfit because I dream of a world of dressy cocktail parties. Luckily, Tahari has an affordable one that can also squeeze into a professional wardrobe. I also like these wide leg pants from Ann Taylor. Or stick with a pair of white jeans in a flare leg.
Earrings // I love the uniqueness of these J.Crew pearl drop earrings. They’re delicate, but modern. In fact, all of J.Crew’s pearl jewelry is pretty great right now.
Bracelets // The cuffs with the pushed up sleeves are the key to this look. For me, I would go with both wrists. For this look, I stuck to one. The bottom cuff is from St. John and is marked down from $400 to $60. So it’s a steal. The top cuff is from Jenny Bird, a beautifully made brand, and is on sale at Nordstrom Rack.
Other awesome cuff options include this Missoma dome cuff, this Stella Toledano cuff with round accents, or these <$50 thinner cuffs from Baublebar. Or you can still with one dramatic cuff and let Kenneth Jay Lane deliver the goods.
Shoes // I wanted a burgundy pump for this look to complement the bold lip. This pair from Nine West was calling my name. These wine-colored flats from Sarah Jessica Parker are also worth a look.
Lipstick // The darkest shade of burgundy lipstick I own comes from Bobbi Brown. The darkest shade I could find for sale comes from Huda Beauty. The HB lipstick is perfectly matte and deeply pigmented (plus the packaging is gorgeous).

I’m obsessed with this look. If only I had a glam holiday party to go to!
I LOVE this!
