That long read – mind. blown. Both of the people involved in that affair need to some serious therapy (among other things).

  2. Shannon says:

Really don’t understand the dorm room thing. You are only there a short time. You spend most of your time elsewhere. Then you have to move all that stuff. I have a son. Could barely get him to do any shopping. When he got to school, he went to Wal Mart and bought some albums. He uses the album covers as his art, and he’s good to go!

  3. Denise says:

I can’t decide how I feel about the dorm room article. On one hand, it seems like overkill…and indeed, I recall my freshman dorm being just awful, with cinder block walls and a loft bed that i bought second hand once on campus that creaked terribly and probably could have been considered a safety hazard. It was…depressing. And I didn’t spend a ton of time in there. I also recall my mom telling stories about how she cried for the entire 5 hour drive home after dropping me at such a dreadful place. So….$1K for peace of mind for my child and I? It might not be the worst investment ever, if only for a year…

  4. Lauren says:

Chiming in to say the jersey dress is very comfortable. Got the dark green and love the color and the fit. Great for flights – even works well for petites! Thank you, Abra!

The Range: Spring Blouses for Work (or Zoom)

Since Sloane was born, I’ve fallen hard into a black, white, and blue wardrobe. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but as spring blooms, I need a little color in my wardrobe (and probably a little print too). Here are a few tops that caught my eye for work.

Too Many Tabs: April 19, 2024

This week, I fell mindlessly into my phone more than I think I ever have. My screen time went from 3.5 hours per day to 5 hours per day. But the increased eye strain did lead to some good finds. Just going to leave this right here.  (I really need to work on “Didn’t make […]
