The Beauty Range: The Best of the Minis

Aug 13, 2021

I love small beauty products.  I’m the woman who goes to Sephora for one thing, makes it all the way to the counter with just one thing, and then hits the mini-bins for $118 worth of stuff.  It’s a problem, but I just want to try everything.  So I always love when Sephora stocks minis of expensive products so I can try them out without committing to a full size.

Here are minis of a bunch of my favorite products.

Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter blurs imperfections and gives you that perfectly highlighted glow.

Urban Decay All Nighter Spray is a must have for keeping makeup in place, esp. in the summer.

Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Cream is great CC cream for those of us with redness.

This Origins Clear Improvement Mask is my favorite for clearing acne/dealing with oily skin.

If your hair needs a boost, this Olaplex Intensive Bond Set will rescue it.

This IGK First Class is my favorite dry shampoo. It’s the only one where the effect isn’t completely flat and dirty feeling by noon.

I also loooove minis! I signed up for Birchbox very late to the party just for this purpose.

A note on these posts: the products always show up HUGE on my screen.

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.

The Range: Spring Blouses for Work (or Zoom)

Since Sloane was born, I’ve fallen hard into a black, white, and blue wardrobe. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but as spring blooms, I need a little color in my wardrobe (and probably a little print too). Here are a few tops that caught my eye for work.
