Long Read. My editor at my college newspaper days is now a well-respected journalist covering the rise of domestic extremism.  Her latest piece discusses how a walking trail in rural Oregon became a flashpoint for far-right extremism.

Until yesterday, I had never heard of Baroness von Sketch Show and my life was the lesser for it.  My friend Michelle shared this hysterical video about making sense of fashion after a certain age, and I loved it.  I watched it four times.  Laughed every time.

You see, even for a fashion blogger, the current Gen-Z and Young Millenial trends make no sense to me.  How can the same wardrobe contain these high waisted ’80s mom jeans and a swimsuit made out of dental floss and a leftover COVID mask?  It’s a mystery.

Regardless, the video is hysterical.  It has replaced Last F**kable Day as my favorite thing to watch when I need a laugh.

It’s allegedly spring. However, for every minute of sunshine, there seems to be an hour of rain and gloom. So while I’d love to wear lighter spring pieces, it’s time to bring on the layers.

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
