I am planning for another summer of work from home. Another summer of comfort mixed with being presentable enough for Zoom. Luckily, Nordstrom has a lot of classic, relaxed styles in their new arrivals section.
Caslon Linen Pants (also in petite and plus) <$75
Linen pants are like summer leggings. Comfortable, loose-fitting, and more publicly appropriate than pajama pants or sweats. Plus, they’re more comfortable in hot climates.
Halogen Classic Button-Up <$75
A crisp, cotton shirt is perfect for work or work from home. This one is a nice mid-weight with a sleek cut and easy style.
River Island Nylon Joggers <$100
I think these joggers are super cute. The cargo styling feels fresh. And since it won’t be summer in MT for a while, I still have weeks to wear them before I pack them up for fall, when I’ll pair them with a cream knit sweater or denim jacket.
Treasure & Bond Long Sleeve Shirt Dress (also in plus) <$100
This shirt dress looks like a nice mix of professional and relaxed. I would prefer it with a belt (probably this one).
This wrap top in a super soft jersey is comfortable, but looks a little bit dressy. I love the blouson sleeve and wrap shape. Size up for more coverage.

I love the idea of linen pants because I live in the south where it is sunny, hot, and humid in the summers. But how do you prevent the crotch from becoming completely wrinkled? I feel like linen pants would expose more of my sweaty parts than I want the world to see are sweating.
Second linen pants question – could you do a post where you style them? I love linen pants but always feel like I’m missing the mark when I have them. They look off with a fitted tee and off with a looser one…I can’t seem to find the right mix of breezy to make it work.
Let me think on it.
