The Range: Four Great Post-Holiday Sales

Dec 28, 2020

How was your holiday?  I hope that, in all the chaos, you found a moment to relax and recharge.  And now that the season is ending, many retailers are offering up sales that are worth mentioning.  For my best picks, I chose the four sales that I wanted to shop most.

Shopbop // Shopbop is always top of my list.  The current sale offers additional discounts with code BYE2020.  Sizes are limited in some pieces, so I recommend sorting by size when searching.  Here are a few items from the sale section that I think good buys for both now and later.

Brinker & Eliza is one of my favorite jewelry lines.  This bracelet has a really unique link style and makes a big impact.

This mocha-colored sweater from Line & Dot is a nice piece for work or weekend.  I also like this chunky ivory knit and this verdant balloon sleeve turtleneck.  Even if you don’t find something in the sale section, their full-price pieces are still very reasonably priced.  This oatmeal sweater dress is one of my favorites.

Lastly, this flap crossbody satchel from Madewell is selling out fast.  It’s a great bag.  The sale also features a lot of activewear, in case you were looking for cute WFH clothes.

Also, if you have Amazon gift cards, you can use them at Shopbop by visiting this link.

Missoma // My favorite jewelry brand is having a sale on their sparkly, shiny wares.  I snagged this chunky chain bracelet.  These mismatched bar studs also caught my eye.  And this pave hammered pendant necklace is pretty fabulous.

Nordstrom // The Half-Yearly Sale has begun.  The sale has a little bit of everything, from designer to leftover holiday gifts.

The beauty sale is worth a look.  This Bobbi Brown eyeshadow palette has colors that can be worn for day or night.  This mini NuFace facial toning device will help smooth your fine lines.  And if you’re doing your own nails these days, this Mini-Macaroon set helps you get the perfect gel manicure.

Need clothes?  I love these Alo slim sweatpants and this oversized Topshop sweater for WFH.  For the office, try this sleek Nic + Zoe blazer and this slim leather pencil skirt.

From the plus-size section, try these slim-fitting ponte pants and this tie-front shirt from Madewell.

Lou & Grey // Need loungewear?  Lou & Grey is offering 50%-off their fun fashions.  This oversized tunic looks great over leggings.  And speaking of leggings, their fabulous side pocket leggings are super soft and comfortable.  Don’t miss the sale for all your weekend, WFH, and future travel needs.

If anyone is on the fence about that Line & Dot oatmeal sweater dress, DO IT! I’ll sing it’s praises all day. It has that perfectly slouchy look, and is delightfully soft and comfy, to boot. Usually I have a hard time with purposefully oversize at 5’2” but for some reason this thing is like magic. I get compliments whenever I wear it!

You just made my day with the link to ShopBop and tips for using an Amazon gift card for ShopBop. Thank you!

I really like the M.M. La Fleur flash sale happening right now too! It’s something different every day but I just got a Merritt Jardigan for 30% off which is honestly a great discount! Especially for such a popular item.

Since Sloane was born, I’ve fallen hard into a black, white, and blue wardrobe. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but as spring blooms, I need a little color in my wardrobe (and probably a little print too). Here are a few tops that caught my eye for work.

Too Many Tabs: April 19, 2024

This week, I fell mindlessly into my phone more than I think I ever have. My screen time went from 3.5 hours per day to 5 hours per day. But the increased eye strain did lead to some good finds. Just going to leave this right here.  (I really need to work on “Didn’t make […]
