A relaxed, draped cardigan is a wonderful addition to a working woman’s wardrobe. For this piece, I chose a luxurious cashmere sweater in dark olive. Here’s how to style it for work and work from home.
Sweater // C by Bloomingdale’s is a nice line of cashmere basics. They make several styles and colors, and the prices are fairly reasonable for the quality. This shawl cardigan sweater is no exception.
Left // For this outfit, I paired a jogger with a relaxed tee. Choosing black separates makes it a little more chic than wearing a white tee.
For the joggers, I chose these Zella Taryn Luxe Joggers. They’re slightly less expensive than my favorite joggers from Vuori. The Zellas run from size 0 to size 20. Plus-size? Try Zella’s live-in pocket joggers.
This Madewell tee has a nice drape to it. Not too fitted, not to loose. And I like the slight shirttail hem. For a less expensive option, try this tee from Daily Ritual.
I finished off the look with these sporty Veja sneakers and these simple Wolf & Badger studs. These pieces are casual but with some style. When layered with the olive sweater, the look is perfect for an internal Zoom call or just working from your home office.
Right // This look is more for casual Friday if you’re in a very professional office. For a business casual office, it’s a nice choice for every day.
This Daily Ritual sweater dress is a very affordable option. Talbot’s also has a lovely olive sweater dress that also comes in plus-size.
I chose these cognac boots from Banana Republic because they’re super chic and very comfortable. Prefer an ankle boot? Try these Naedia boots from Aldo.
I finished the look with a burgundy tote from Cuyana. I liked the blend of fall hues with the olive and burgundy. And lastly, I added these mini Zoe Lev huggie hoops.
For hair and makeup, I would probably wear my hair down, either blown-out or lightly waved. I’d add a berry wash on my lips and a purple eyeliner.

are tall boots back now? I have 3 pair in the back of my closet, haha.
love the veja sneakers, might be time for me to take the plunge.
I was thinking the same thing! But one thing I love about this blog is the focus on style rather than fashion – the only difference seems to be something can be a great style but you can’t find options in stores if it’s not the fashion!
I’ve been really intrigued by the Vuori joggers. Are they something I could wear out of my house? I’d like an alternative to leggings for school drop off/pick up, coffee runs, etc. Thanks!
I have them and I do wear out of the house in those types of settings. I think if you style them nicely like Belle’s described, they have a great athleisure look. I prefer them over leggings for out of the house wear.
I was unsure but they are great. I am glad they offer a tall option, unlike most joggers. These joggers are a great addition to my wardrobe.
