The Range: J.Crew’s Cold-Weather Sale

Oct 19, 2020

If you need coats, sweaters, boots, or other cold-weather gear, J.Crew is having a sale you need to check out.  They’re offering up to 60%-off most cold-weather items, plus an additional 20% off with code WARMUP.  Sale runs through midnight ET on 10/19.  Here are some of my favorite picks from the sale.

Many J.Crew styles come in tall and petite lengths, and almost all come in plus-size.

J.Crew makes great coats.  Their Cocoon Coat is a relaxed option for every day.  If you live in a mild climate, their Quilted Downtown Field Jacket is lovely.  And lastly, my favorite coat, the Day Coat.  It’s a feminine, professional option that has a Thinsulate layer to keep you warm.

Blazers are also a part of this sale.  This herringbone green blazer has been on my wish list for a while, and at 54% off + 20%, I finally snapped it up.  I also picked up a second color in my beloved Regent Blazer.  This was one of my best purchases of 2019.  The jacket is perfectly tailored and blends seamlessly into a professional or business casual wardrobe.

This vintage terry cloth turtleneck is longer in the back, making it a great top to wear with leggings.  This super-soft yarn sweater also has a longer rear hem.  And you can never go wrong with a chunky fisherman’s sweater.

I have the lady day coat in that color, and if anyone is on the fence, it’s fantastic. It’s warm with the thinsulate lining, it has a very tailored fit, the color is so elegant, and I get lots of compliments on it.

Also own the Lady Day Coat but in a Bright Coral (not currently on the site). Big +1 to the warmth and it’s held up well over 2+ years (replaced a prior J.Crew coat that last 8+). I get compliments on it (esp with the bright color) all the time!

I caved. I’ve wanted a dark green wool coat for ages, but it has to be a size tall (long arms). I have absolutely nowhere to wear it in the PNW, but maybe someday winter weddings and traveling to the east coast will be a thing again? And when it is I will be warm and stylish.

Any chance you could do the green blazer two ways? I am in love with it, but don’t know how to style it..

    Thanks!
