I drink home brewed cold brew most of the year and really all you need is a bowl or glassware with lid and a way to strain your grounds – i use a big mesh sieve that fits in an 8 cup measure perfectly lined with paper towels.

I have a cold brew concentrate maker and I highly recommend that if you’re going to drink cold brew everyday. Mine produces enough concentrate for about 1.5 weeks.

In 24 hours I have very strong concentrate that you dilute with water to taste, adding cold water to to make cold brew,or hot water for warm coffee, etc. It’s fantastic to make cold brew affogatos with too.

I’ve also never gotten the infuser types to make it strong enough to my taste so it sits mostly unused, except for travel.

How would the US be any different from China if we blocked certain apps and websites from the internet? I understand the concerns but it seems deeply undemocratic to censor an entire app because of its connections with a government we have tense relations with.

The Beauty Edit: Neck Creams

Nora Ephron was right: I feel bad about my neck. As I move through my forties, the creases have turned into chasms. The skin sags like a pair of sweatpants with aging elastic. It’s not great. But it’s just a natural part of getting older. Over the past year, it feels like I’ve tried every […]
