Clarisonic Is Closing. Get Your Brush Heads Now.

Jul 15, 2020

The Clarisonic was the first product that I ever raved about on this blog.  I owned one for years and, as luck would have it, I just purchased a new one last month.  But the Clarisonic company announced yesterday that they are ceasing production.

So get your brush heads while you still can.  Here’s where you can find them.

+ Sephora is completely sold out.  Don’t bother.

+ Ulta has a handful options left at 50% off.

+ Overstock has brush heads discounted and in stock.

+ QVC has most of the brush head line available, but they’re not discounted.

+ You can also find Clarisonic brush heads at Amazon.

+ Amazon stocks some compatible brush heads, so you won’t be without options if you need more in the future.

+ Wal-Mart also stocks compatible brush heads.  Six brush heads for $19.

Looking for a replacement device?  I don’t use my Clarisonic for daily cleansing.  I use it for once-a-week deep exfoliation.  For daily washing, I use the Luna Foreo Mini.

This silicone device doesn’t require brush heads.  It uses hundreds of silicone touch points to remove dirt and debris from your skin.  It’s non-porous and resists bacteria build up.  The charge lasts for a long time, so it’s easy to travel with even on long trips.

I have also tried the PMD Rose Quartz facial cleansing device.  I really like it, particularly the warm quartz stone on the back of the device which helps serums absorb more deeply.  I recommend the device, but I should mention that mine broke after just four weeks of use.  I know several other people who own the device and have no issues, so I think I just bought a lemon.

Hi Abra! What’s your once a week routine for using your Clarisonic? I have to admit that I haven’t used mine in months or more, but am rethinking using it. Thanks!

On Fridays, so I’m fresh for date night, I break out the exfoliation brush in the shower. I do my face, neck and décolletage. The orange exfoliator is pretty powerful so any more would be overkill. Then, when I get out of the shower, I apply my serum and Elemis moisturizer and use the sonic eye brush on my whole face to really help it sink in.

Even just using a regular brush once a week will help exfoliate your skin. I would do it on whatever day you have an extra five minutes, and apply your best serum right after.

Thanks for the heads-up & options.

Well this is annoying. ☹️ Thank you for letting us know. Buying whatever I can.

Any reason why Clarisonic is closing down?

  5. Julia says:

Does anyone have any suggestions for an alternate device that is good for daily exfoliation? From talking to friends, the Foreo doesn’t really exfoliate the same way… rather just deep cleans.

  6. Traci says:

This is bad news. I rely on my Clarisonic. I think it’s the only thing to really work for me. Sigh…back to the drawing board.
