As the pandemic precautions continue, I thought I would post a few work from home outfits to give you a bit of inspiration. One is for days when you don’t want to get dressed. Another for days when you want to feel fancy and free. And a third, for days when you want to dress for the office at home.
One. Lou & Grey Upstate Plush Sweatshirt and Sweatpants // Lele Sadoughi Knotted Headband // Second Daughter Stud Earrings // Ugg Ansley Slippers
For days when you just can’t. The Lou & Grey sweatsuits are the best loungewear on the market. If it’s too hot where you live for a sweatshirt (lucky!), their Triple Cloth Joggers come with a coordinating cotton henley top. There as close to pajamas as you can get while still wearing clothes.
To spare my hair color, I’ve started alternating wash days. (Thank you, Drybar Detox Invisible Dry Shampoo.) This knotted headband is the perfect thing to help my hair style look fresh second day, or third. For an affordable knotted headband, Amazon gives you eight colors for $14. Share them with your girlfriends.
I added a coordinating pair of earrings to complement the headband. Because even during a pandemic, I need fashion.
And lastly, my beloved, I hate that I need you this much, Ugg slippers. So comfortable. So cozy. Like a hug for your feet. For a cheaper pair, try Ugg’s Koolaburra line.
Two. Lou & Grey Stark X Cami Dress // Panacea Green Stone Necklace // Lou & Grey Slub Crop Cardi // Kate Spade Knot Sandals
Feels like pajamas, looks like fancy brunch attire. Channel your inner Bohemian with this flowy yellow dress. If you want something with a little more heft to it, try this emerald green tank dress from Target.
Yellow not your color? Pair this grey tank dress with the absolutely gorgeous pearl-grey slub cardigan from Lou & Grey. I like this cardigan because it’s light and offers coverage without being too warm. It’s just so unique.
Plus-Size? Try this Madewell tank dress in a cool blue color, and this cropped Isaac Mizrahi cardigan in navy.
To complement the yellow, I chose this long green pendant necklace. It’s an affordable piece with a lot of impact. For something with a simpler look, try this Kendra Scott pendant.
Three. Gorjana Farrah Hoops // Madewell Knot Front Shirt // Eileen Fisher Wide Leg Pants // & Other Stories Alpaca Cardigan // Walking Cradles D’Orsay Flats
Eileen Fisher, the perfect blend of work attire and comfort. So many of my friends are wearing EF right now, trying to keep up their office attire game while working from home. These wide leg pants are a favorite — comfortable, yet professional. For a more affordable option, LOFT has a pair in a slightly cropped style that are worth a look. (Also in petite and tall.)
This Madewell knotted shirt is a really fun summer piece. It looks great with these work trousers, but would also be fun with a floral printed short. Or pair it with a pleated skirt for a flirty, feminine look.
My office is still freezing, and Kyle will want AC any day now, so sweaters are must. This glorious alpaca sweater comes in oatmeal and ivory. Buy now, wear always. For something lighter, try this rope-colored crochet cardigan. This would also be a good look with a denim jacket.
These flats are supposed to be shockingly comfortable with their removable padding. They also come in narrow and wide widths, which I know some of you are searching for.

Any ideas for slippers or “house” shoes that aren’t fur-lined? I love my Ugg slippers now but as summer comes I’d like something lighter to wear inside.
I just purchase a lovely pair of Ugg “ driving loafers” in White that are super comfortable and not fleece lined but very cushy. These are my first uggs. I am generally not a fan, but these are great to wear around the house and outside. Got at Nordstrom
