Last Week’s Bestsellers: January 13, 2020

Jan 13, 2020

When you write a fashion blog, it can be difficult to know whether the content is resonating with your readers.  Often, I just write about the things that I love (or love the look of) and go from there.  But I thought it might be helpful for you ladies to see which items caught the eye of your fellow community members.

So every Monday, I’m going to post last week’s bestselling items.  Here’s the first batch.

One. Rothy’s Point Flats in Merino Wool // I own four pair of Rothy’s now.  Soon, it will be five.  Their new(wish) Merino collection comes in this gorgeous eggplant and a handful of other colors that are selling out fast.  (Wish I had gotten the camel-colored points before they disappeared.)

Two. Melinda Maria ‘She Persisted’ Charm // A bestseller for six weeks in a row, this pendant comes with an important message. I’m wearing mine right now.

Three. J.Crew Regent Blazer // A total classic, this Regent blazer is perfect for business, business casual, or weekend.  I loved it so much, that when the dry cleaner ruined mine last month, I instantly ordered another.  I’ve been waiting a month for it to come back into stock.  Apparently everyone else loves it too.

Four. Antik Kraft Faux Leather Tote // I featured this under-$60 tote last week, and it’s now one of my favorite pieces on the blog.  The slouchy, relaxed shape is fabulous.  I love the unique look of the handle.  It comes in your choice of this taupe-mauve, cognac, and black.

Five. Charlotte Tilbury Colour Chameleon Stick // The best eyeliner/shadow around.  I love the chunkier stick for getting good coverage, and the rich pigments are fantastic.

Six. Suistudio High Waist Pants // These were a bit of a surprise on the bestseller list, since I only mentioned them in passing in the morning post.  But with a classic shape in an unexpected color, it’s no wonder they’re beloved.

Any favorites from last week that I missed?  Leave them in the comments.

I just got that faux leather tote in black and LOVE it – thanks so much for posting! Now I’m trying to justify getting it in mauve, too…

Beauty Review: Bondi Boost

As I age, I notice many changes in my body. Most are fine. Some are frustrating. Like many women, I lost a lot of hair in my postpartum phase. Being anemic for more than a year after, it didn’t grow back in to its former glory. So I’ve tried any number of shampoos, pills and […]

I remember when Rochelle Behrens launched The Shirt — a button-down blouse with anti-gape technology (a patented internal button that keeps the look smooth). The idea seemed brilliant, but at the time, my bust didn’t require an extra button. One baby later, I understand the need for some extra security.

The Mondays: March 18, 2024

This weekend was a tricky one. The warm weather and bright sunshine of last weekend disappeared in a flurry of wet snow trapping our very active 18-month-old in the house with us. Plus, our babysitter cancelled, so neither of us feels ready for the week ahead. But in between making mac-and-cheese and watching Aristocats for […]
