The Find: A Neutral Coat

Jan 6, 2020

January is the worst time to be writing a fashion blog.  Most of the winter things are discounted with low stock.  No one is ready for spring yet, but everyone is reticent to spend money on more winter attire with warmer weather ahead.  So what to do?

This week’s morning posts will focus on classic winter pieces at under-$200 prices.  The idea being that you can wear these pieces for the remainder of this season, and again next winter.  And we’re starting with a gorgeous neutral coat.

This M&S Wool Blend Longline City Coat has a sleek, classic look.  I love the pale tan hue, and the woven texture.  The longer length and double breasted cut are also great.  This coat runs to US size 20.

If you like this pale neutral color, this Mango belted wrap coat is lovely.  I also like this ivory boucle Topshop coat.  Petite?  Try this ASOS coat in a pale oatmeal.

Gift Guide 2023: Stocking Stuffers, Pt. 1

I love stocking stuffers.  They are the best part of Christmas.  There’s just nothing quite like an affordable gift that’s funny or useful or chic (or maybe all three).  So here is Part One of my stocking stuffer gift guides, where nothing costs more than $30.
