September’s Most Popular Items

Oct 1, 2019

September entered with a sunny wedding day by the lake, and left with a morning spent shoveling snow.  Talk about a sea change.

As for reader favorites, September was filled with pencil skirts, chic sweaters, and versatile necklaces.  Here are the most popular items from last month (minus the ones that sold out), in case you didn’t catch them the first time around.

Free People Ottoman Sweater ($148)

Ann Taylor Nugget Station Necklace ($50)

Halogen Ponte Pencil Skirt ($59)

Ann Taylor One-Button Blazer ($169)

Shashi Elegance Earring ($42)

I love when you do these round-ups! Extra points for when readers who have purchased these weigh in with their 2 cents …

I bought the Ann Taylor hunter green suit and I love it. Any tips on styling it. Other than wearing something white underneath I’m not sure how to jazz it up.

    • Belle says:

You can wear it with shades of blue, pale purples, eggplants, grey. I just wore my jacket over a navy dress, and then wore a blue button up under it.

    • KJ says:

I bought the suit (and love it) and have worn it with a lace marigold top and it looked very fall-esque.

FWIW I bought (and promptly returned) that sweater. The sleeves were comically large on my frame (5’4, ordered a small and was swimming in it). It was also oddly short in that the popcorn textured part over your stomach wanted to fold down over the ribbed part, basically, it was nowhere near as sleek but interesting as it looks on the model

The Range: Spring Blouses for Work (or Zoom)

Since Sloane was born, I’ve fallen hard into a black, white, and blue wardrobe. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but as spring blooms, I need a little color in my wardrobe (and probably a little print too). Here are a few tops that caught my eye for work.
