We must be willing to let go of the life we planned so as to have the life that is waiting for us. — Joseph Campbell

Climber. What’s the difference between anxiety and ambition?

Cold. A lightweight desk cardigan, and a chunkier version.

Grown Woman. On being grown up, but not feeling like an adult.

Blazed. Daniel Rainn’s open-front jacket has a cool look; it also comes in plus.

Designer. This bow-neck Gucci coat is just a joy to look at.

Entrepreneur. Should women lean in or quit to do their own thing?

Today is National Voter Registration Day.  If you are not registered, you can do so with the Young Invincibles, here.

If you’re already registered, I found this article about equity in voting thought-provoking.  I also share this Vox article on why voting matters and why elections are important quite frequently.

I loved the article about the French Girl cliche. As someone who admired the “French Girl” in her teens and early twenties; in my 30’s (but early ones though no one really distinguishes at this point) I have embraced who I am, with all of the various interests. I am not trying to fit a mold, as much as discerning what I like and following that. Someday’s its very classic, other days its vivid colors. Do I still love the romance of American in Paris, of course, but do I think this cliche is stifling yes. I love in recent years that we have diversified what it means to be a woman, with a career, as a mom, as a single person…

The Find: A Versatile Sweater Jacket

It’s allegedly spring. However, for every minute of sunshine, there seems to be an hour of rain and gloom. So while I’d love to wear lighter spring pieces, it’s time to bring on the layers.
