The Find: A Trendy Weekend Blazer

Sep 6, 2019

Do you ever tire of wearing the same black blazer over and over again?  Me too, especially when I don’t want to wear my work jackets on the weekend.  Luckily, Lioness has a perfectly on-trend weekend blazer to give your wardrobe an affordable boost.

The buttons give this Lioness Palermo Blazer ($88) life.  The jacket comes in navy, white, and, of course, black.  They also have it in an olive-khaki for fall.

I bought the white (of course, I did), and this is definitely a softer, less structured jacket.  But for the weekend, it’s perfectly relaxed and comfortable.  Some reviewers mentioned wrinkling, but I haven’t had that issue.

Plus-size?  Marks and Spencer has a similar jacket in a slightly higher price point that is just gorgeous.

I like the double-breasted blazer, though I wish it were a little shorter and more fitted on this model. Would love to see how you style yours.
Another great option is subbing a leather moto jacket for a blazer on the weekends or in creative-industry workplaces.

I can’t get over my fear is spilling coffee or getting ink on white clothes. Teach is to overcome the fear (and make in the moment fixes if needed), oh great wearer is white!

Too Many Tabs: April 19, 2024

This week, I fell mindlessly into my phone more than I think I ever have. My screen time went from 3.5 hours per day to 5 hours per day. But the increased eye strain did lead to some good finds. Just going to leave this right here.  (I really need to work on “Didn’t make […]
