August is almost upon us. I remember being on the Hill and just counting the days. Vacations, long lunches, happy hours, working 40-hour weeks. It felt like bliss.
And in August, I wear white. The crisp freshness of summer. The breezy lightness of sunshine. So let’s talk about white dresses.

How is the quality on Lark & Ro? I’ve been looking for a simple white dress that I could wear to my (very) casual office in the summers, and this looks good. I only want to buy one that will last many seasons.
I am also curious about Lark & Ro! This dress is so lovely and simple… though I -really- don’t trust myself with white. I managed to get strawberry juice on two separate white tees in the same weekend, because I’m a messy child who loves drippy fruit.
To all the Hill readers: congrats on out of session!
How do you keep your whites “white?” I consider myself a tidy person and have still lost multiple pieces this season to everyday stains (white tees with yellow deodorant marks, linen pants with stains from walking in the sand, etc). I have washed with Oxyclean to no avail.
I don’t think just washing works. I soak my white clothes in hot oxyclean over night then wash and it pulls out 90% of stains.
when wearing white shirts I highly recommend using deodorant, not anti-perspirant. You don’t want aluminum in the ingredients, which expedites the yellowing.
