Weekly Sales: May 3, 2019

May 3, 2019

I’m in Whitefish this weekend trying to plan a wedding.  Seriously, so much cake.  I thought that I would find this all a lot of fun.  Boy, was I wrong.  Paying a planner is the best money I’ve ever spent.  I get such terrible decision fatigue; I’m so grateful I can make like 10 decisions and just pass the rest off to her.

But even though I’m on the road, the sales keep coming.  Here are the week’s best.

Sephora // VIB members take 15% off with code HEYVIB, Insiders take 10% off with code HEYINSIDER. Valid 5/2-5/6.

My Best Pick. I put my Sephora picks in last week’s post.  But I just picked up this Artis travel brush set and it is a game changer.  I never understood the point of the oval brushes, but one flawless foundation application later, and I do now.

H&M // Take 40% off site wide.  Ends 5/5.

My Best Pick. This oh-s0-pretty cotton dress for breezy spring days.

Lord & Taylor // Take 25% off regular-priced items and 20% off clearance items with code MOM. Ends 5/12.

My Best Pick. Plus-size? Add some gold earrings to this green midi dress for summer weddings.  Misses?  Check out this chic high-halter dress for your wedding needs.

Saks Off Fifth // Designer Event! Take an extra 30% off with code DESIGNER.

My Best Pick. This fantastically sophisticated funnelneck top (just $54!).

Bloomingdale’s // Take an extra 25% off select sale styles. Ends 5/5.

My Best Pick. Rainy days ahead? This robin’s egg blue raincoat is perfect for you.

Know of a great weekend sale that I missed?  Feel free to share in the comments.  Because deals are better with friends!

Is there a sale code for H&M? I clicked through to the site and don’t see any indication of the 40% off 🙁

  2. Betsy says:

One of my favorite weddings that I have ever attended was in Whitefish – so beautiful there. Have a fun weekend!

  3. Laura says:

Am I missing something on H&M? I don’t see 40% sitewide on their homepage and adding stuff to my cart doesn’t reflect a discount. Is there a promo code?

    Abra,

So glad to know you have found a wedding planning solution that works for you. Your planner sounds like a real gem. In my experience (my 35th wedding anniversary was last week) what you will remember most is not the Pinterest-y details, it is the people, especially Kyle, of course!

Ultimately, what matters is the marriage, not the wedding.
Besides, no matter what you choose in the planning process, your future children/nieces/nephews will probably still laugh at your wedding pictures someday!

Praying for a lovely day for you and Kyle and a lifetime of happiness.

    Sally

As soon as I posted my comment, I realized my wording should have been “ANY future children/nieces/nephews.” My apologies.

Since Sloane was born, I’ve fallen hard into a black, white, and blue wardrobe. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but as spring blooms, I need a little color in my wardrobe (and probably a little print too). Here are a few tops that caught my eye for work.

Too Many Tabs: April 19, 2024

This week, I fell mindlessly into my phone more than I think I ever have. My screen time went from 3.5 hours per day to 5 hours per day. But the increased eye strain did lead to some good finds. Just going to leave this right here.  (I really need to work on “Didn’t make […]
