Five Dresses/Five Days: Hello, Summer Weddings

May 3, 2019

Unsurprisingly, I have weddings on the brain.  Not only do I have my own coming up, I have a few to attend this summer.  So when I spotted this dress, I knew I needed to grab it.  Because, seriously, that price.

I usually don’t wear black to weddings, especially not summer weddings.  But the breezy-highness of this dress made me rethink that decision.  This high-halter dress is from Lark & Ro and costs just $49.

To dress this up for an evening wedding, I would choose these great black sandals and these multistone earrings and a coordinating blue clutch that looks like a gemstone.   If you’re looking for something more casual, I suggest a lot of gold and wood bangles to keep it beachy.

Cute! Looks like it needs a slip…

The Amazon reviews for this dress are pretty harsh. Have you received it and liked it already?

It needed some tailoring, but it was a $49 with $49 in tailoring, and I’m pretty happy with it. I will post a photo when I get to Spokane.

The Find: My Best Workout Shorts

For eight years, I have worn the same workout shorts. Every year, an influencer tries to sell me new shorts. I order them. I try them on. They pale in comparison to the shorts I already own. I return them.
