Make the most of yourself by fanning the tiny, inner sparks of possibility into flames of achievement. — Golda Meir

It’s back! The Capitol Hill Style March Madness pool lives. I had stopped doing it out of concern for legality, but since I take no money, and provide all prizes myself, I’m told it’s likely legal.  You can register, here.

Prizes for 2019 are $200 gift card to Nordstrom for first place, $100 gift card for second place, and $50 for third place.  Good luck!

Not sure where to post this, but I wanted to say I bought the Lunai pearl earrings you recommended from Etsy a little while ago, and am very happy with them. Nice discrete size without being too small, and my sensitive ears had no reaction to the posts after wearing them all day. They are also adjustable so you can have the pearl closer or further from the earlobe. I was looking for interesting pearl earrings, so really appreciated this recommendation!

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
