The Range: Pale Pink Blazers

Mar 4, 2019

A pale pink blazer may seem like a one-trick pony, but it is anything but.  It jazzes up neutral pieces, looks great with denim, and freshens up old basics.  I recommend buying one, and trying it on with a few of your favorite work pieces.  You’ll be surprised how many new outfits it can create.

Corner Office

Alice + Olivia Jerri Blazer ($440)

Cubicle Farm

Antonio Melani Josie Jacket ($229)

Front Desk

Ruched Sleeve Boyfriend Blazer ($108)

Plus-Size

Rebel Wilson Peplum Blazer ($149)

Boden makes a lovely double breasted blazer in millennial pink and was one of the first spring purchases J made. http://m.bodenusa.com/womens-coats-jackets/blazers/t0185-spk/womens-chalky-pink-addlestone-blazer

Any other outfit ideas for a pink blazer + other items for the office (vs a full on suit like in most of the above pictures). I have a cute light pink one, but have trouble putting together outfits.

LONGGGGG before it was “trendy” I had a soft pinky beige blazer it was single Breasted & longer line *probably from ann Taylor) and I wore it often for many years with navy, gray and denim. Now I’m sad I gave it away as the cut is still in style.

Belle, I notice several of your options are double breasted. Is that making a comeback?

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
