Cozy, Casual Amazon Favorites for Fall

Sep 26, 2018

I’ve posted before about my love of Amazon’s Daily Ritual line.  These are high-quality, casual pieces that you will quickly become staples in your life.  I am genuinely disappointed when all of my DR pieces are in the wash and I have to wear something else.  Here are my favorites.

Mockneck Swing Dress ($24, 6 colors)

This dress is so comfortable.  And forgiving, let’s not forget forgiving.  It’s basically pajamas.  I wear mine with short boots when I run errands.

Funnel Neck Pullover ($28)

The loose fit makes this perfect for layering.  I wear mine over sleeveless dresses.

Seamed Front Ponte Legging ($22)

These ponte leggings are a little thicker than your standard leggings.  Wear them with a long sweater.

Terry Cotton Striped Tunic ($28)

This is a great sweatshirt.  It’s cozy, warm and goes with everything.

Long Sleeve Split Hem Tee ($26)

Saved my favorite piece for last.  I have it in black and grey.  The side-splits make it swingy and chic.  It’s also incredibly well-made in a heavy cotton jersey.

How is the sizing on these. I need this sweatshirt.

    • Belle says:

On the funnel neck, it will run big because of the boxy cut. On the other pieces, I’m a 4-6 and wear a small. So pretty standard.

  2. JL says:

I second the request for sizing info, please.

  3. Meghan says:

How do these pieces wash? I find that acrylic/rayon always shrinks on me, even if I cold wash on delicate and hang to dry.

    • Belle says:

Never had any problems with any of the pieces I featured. Some of the tees that come in the two packs had problems with the stitching on the neckline.

      • Meghan says:

Thanks Belle. It is awesome that you actually take the time to respond to reader questions and concerns and that you respond based on your own experience because you actually bought what you feature!

Based on Belle’s recommendation I bought 2 dresses from Daily Ritual. I loved them so much I now have 6 dresses and 3 shirts from them. I love them so much and you can’t beat the prices. I wash normal and airdry the pieces. They are great for work as they are SUPER comfortable while still looking professional (I work at a business casual workplace). Highly recommend, plus they have maternity and plus sizing as well.

Beauty Review: Bondi Boost

As I age, I notice many changes in my body. Most are fine. Some are frustrating. Like many women, I lost a lot of hair in my postpartum phase. Being anemic for more than a year after, it didn’t grow back in to its former glory. So I’ve tried any number of shampoos, pills and […]

The Mondays: March 18, 2024

This weekend was a tricky one. The warm weather and bright sunshine of last weekend disappeared in a flurry of wet snow trapping our very active 18-month-old in the house with us. Plus, our babysitter cancelled, so neither of us feels ready for the week ahead. But in between making mac-and-cheese and watching Aristocats for […]
