I love a good leather jacket. I bought a fake leather jacket as a trial to see if I’d wear it enough to warrant spending money on a real leather jacket. Several years later, I’m still wearing the fake one – the Minus the Leather line from Express. It looks great and makes me feel extremely cool and confident.

I have snagged two black leather jackets from ThredUp. The ones I always wanted were way out of my price range and this allowed me to get a Rag & Bone ribbed cuff jacket and a Joie moto jacket for a fraction of the original cost. It took me a while, but getting high-quality leather in two great designs was worth it!

  3. Kelly says:

I’ve been eyeing leather jackets for awhile. I’m planning to go for it once I land a job and start collecting regular paychecks again.

  4. Jessica says:

Can you do a follow up post on styling leather jackets? Maybe add bomber jackets in too? Every time I’ve tried to style one I’ve thought it looked odd.

  5. Jules says:

Leather jackets always make me wish I lived in a cooler climate. I love how bad ass they look. I can’t remember the last time it was cool enough to wear a jacket 🙁

  6. Lexi says:

For a plus-size, high quality leather jacket, I recommend All67.com. The fit and quality is amazing. They also make a vegan option. Expensive, but after getting lousy, cheap quality jackets, I really appreciate it, especially since you don’t really see a good quality leather jacket in plus size.

Beauty Review: Bondi Boost

As I age, I notice many changes in my body. Most are fine. Some are frustrating. Like many women, I lost a lot of hair in my postpartum phase. Being anemic for more than a year after, it didn’t grow back in to its former glory. So I’ve tried any number of shampoos, pills and […]

The Mondays: March 18, 2024

This weekend was a tricky one. The warm weather and bright sunshine of last weekend disappeared in a flurry of wet snow trapping our very active 18-month-old in the house with us. Plus, our babysitter cancelled, so neither of us feels ready for the week ahead. But in between making mac-and-cheese and watching Aristocats for […]
