Jeff Bezos’ continued quest for world domination apparently runs through your closet. With last week’s Daily Ritual post still fresh, I want to draw your attention to some of the best looking work dresses I’ve seen this spring (especially in this price range). Enter Amazon’s Lark & Ro brand.
The first question I always get about a new brand is: How’s the quality? Lark & Ro is better than H&M, more like a Modcloth or a Mango. A good buy for the money, but the material is mostly blends of various types.
However, what isn’t a blend these days? I bought a designer dress on sale post-holiday, got it to my house, and was horrified to find a dress that usually cost $2,500 was a blend. Apparently you can’t have straight cotton no matter what you pay.
Other than that, the dresses come in XS to XL misses sizes only (runs mostly true to size, maybe just a hair large). Hopefully, they add some more inclusive sizing later. But the styles are on point, the quality is good, and the price if definitely right. Here are some of my top picks.
Lark & Ro Drape Wrap Dress ($49, 6 colors)
Lark & Ro Crossover Dress ($65, 2 colors)
Ruffle Sleeve Sheath ($69, also in navy)

Wow, I need all of these. Last year I placed a dress order on Amazon and expected to return half of them but I kept all but one. They have some great stuff and free returns make it a no brainer.
Any tips for how to search for clothes on Amazon? My searches always seem to turn up not great finds. What search parameters net these great results?
Love Amazon, especially for more trendy pieces I might only wear once or twice. For example I purchased some tassel earrings for under $10 that I might get a few uses from but can’t justify paying $30-$40 at a boutique for.
Also love Amazon for bathing suits and like that I can try them on at HOME and free returns.
Would love to hear other brands you like from Amazon too Belle!
Oh hmm, that striped dress is nice, and sometimes those types of dresses actually drape really well.
