The Edit: Ann Taylor 50% Off Sale

Apr 16, 2018

Every April, I go through this weird wardrobe phase.  I’m not ready to commit to a summer look or color palette, but I feel like I need something new to wear.  That’s why it’s awesome that Ann Taylor is having a 50% off sale (code SPRINGTOIT, ends midnight Monday).  Even suiting is on sale.  Here are my favorites.

Scallop Trim Blouse ($79)

Suede Bow Block Sandals ($139)

Cinched Waist Midi Dress ($134)

Ann Cardigan (7 colors; $69)

Double Strand Layering Necklace ($49)

Tie Waist Flounce Skirt ($98)

Striped Fringe Tee ($65)

Colorblock Yarn Dyed Scarf ($69)

Flounce Hem Wrap Dress ($149)

Why oh why does that beautiful scallop blouse have to be Polyester?! Spring fever is real, even when you barely have winter.

I don’t really understand AT’s pricing. While I find their clothes stylish, and decent enough durability, it’s mostly polyester, and not high quality materials. So I don’t know why their clothes are so expensive. that’s why I only buy during big sales when the prices are more in line.

It’s allegedly spring. However, for every minute of sunshine, there seems to be an hour of rain and gloom. So while I’d love to wear lighter spring pieces, it’s time to bring on the layers.

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
