Dec 5, 2017

I was flipping through Nordstrom’s website last night (as I often do) and spotted so many great tops, sweaters, and blouses, I decided to post them all.  So if you’re hunting for some new separates for work, definitely give these a look.

Topshop Origami Top ($68)

Halogen Lace Yoke Top ($79, also in petite)

Plus-Size Star Ruched Shirt ($59)

Topshop Puff Sleeve Sweater ($90)

Drop Maternity/Nursing Top ($100)

Willow & Clay Vintage Blouse ($99)

Tippi Cat Print Sweater ($89)

Plus-size Evans Ruffle Sleeve Sweater ($64)

  1. Virginia says:

I need that cat print sweater!!

  2. J says:

I LOVE the black Halogen top, but you’re not seriously listing it as “for work,” are you?!

    • Belle says:

Absolutely. If you’re concerned about the sheer panel, a nude or black cami will fix it right up. Wear it under a white blazer with black pants.

      • crystal says:

I love the black top. But alas, it’s sold out in all non-petite sizes.
I was able to pick up the origami top — looking forward to that one.

  3. Heather says:

I have that TopShop top in hot pink and it is fantastic for a summer wardrobe (although the zipper and hook in the back of the neck is a little irritating). I’m going to get this one as well for fall.

    • K says:

What do you wear the top with? I really like the look and color. It seems like some thing fairly unique that I won’t tire of quickly, but it’s also a little outside my norm.

      • Whitney says:

I just got this Topshop top in the mail and wore it today with wide leg black pants. I got so many compliments on the shirt…I think it will pair well with a pencil skirt as well. It’s a seriously great shirt–great recommendation, Abra!

Happy Hour: Atlantic Beach Pie

There are two kinds of people in this world: People who eat cake on their birthdays and people who don’t.  And some of the weirdos in the latter category (I said what I said) eat pie as an alternative.  So if you’re a “birthday pie” eater with a late summer celebration coming up, may I […]

The Find: The Only Wire-Free Bra That Didn’t Fail Me

After Sloane was born, I developed a seething hatred for underwire bras.  The trouble was that I had also developed a larger, slightly droopier bust.  It was a cruel irony.

The 2010s Trends I’m Loving and Leaving Behind

Our tween and teen nieces spent the first half of 2023 reviving our high school fashions.  From peasant tops to low rises, I felt like I was back bopping to N’SYNC in my mint-green sedan for a minute.  Now, our 20-something direct reports are bringing back the 2010s in a big way, and I am […]
