My Top Picks for Cyber Monday Deals

Nov 27, 2017

Happy Cyber Monday, ladies.  It’s the day when we ease back into our work week with a bit of sale shopping.  I’ve already posted the best items from the Black Friday sales and the Nordstrom sale, but there are a handful of Cyber Monday sales worth mentioning.

Amazon // 30-50% off Prime Exclusive Fashion Brands.

This is a great sale.  For Amazon Prime members (join here), this sale discounts Amazon’s exclusive fashion brands.  These include everything from cozy pajamas to sumptuous cashmere sweaters.

Abra’s Picks // Lark & Ro Slouchy Cashmere Sweater // Arabella Longsleeve Jersey Pajamas (also in Plus) // The Fix Double Bow Flat // Studded Leather Clutch

Banana Republic, Gap, and Old Navy // 50% off everything, no exclusions.

There are so many sales at these retailers that I almost didn’t promote this one.  But if you’re on the hunt for staples, half off never hurt anyone, especially when there are no exclusions.

Abra’s Picks // BR Tie-Front Blazer ($198) // Gap Primaloft Olive Parka ($198) // Old Navy Sueded Ankle Boots ($45)

Athleta // 20% off with code REFRESH.

If you love loungewear and athleisure, you need to stop by this Athleta sale.  I like to be comfortable when I’m home on the weekends, and Athleta makes pieces that I can wear to the gym or when I’m running errands.  They have a surprising number of “regular clothes” that feel like loungewear, but don’t look like it.

Abra’s Picks // Slash 7/8 Tights ($108) // Long & Lean Tunic Button Up ($79) // (gorgeous) Ivory Cashmere Funnel Neck Sweater ($218)

Fiscally Feasible Fashion

My dark under eye circles have been the bane of my existence since I was 12. Is the cause lack of sleep? Dehydration? Sinus issues? Stress? Who the hell knows. But there they are, every day, telling the world that I am an exhausted working Mom.

Sloane loves the pool. She jumps from the deck into the water with a crash, never considering her own safety, only to emerge on the surface, shouting “Again!” The pool is my daughter’s happy place. But no place where I need to wear a swimsuit in public is a happy one for me.

The Mondays: July 22, 2024

The Crowdstrike/Microsoft Meltdown forced me to take a few days off this weekend. No laptop. No billable hours. So we packed Sloane up for a visit to a local llama farm, stopped by the pool, went for coffee, etc. Few things are as funny as watching a 23-month old feed carrots to a ravenous rescue […]
