The Edit: Work Dresses Under-$75

Nov 16, 2017

As we come to the end of the year, I am craving new dresses.  I always do this.  There are so many “not cocktail” holiday parties that occur after work (especially in D.C.), that I always use this time of year as an excuse to grab a new dress or two.  But let’s be real, the holidays are expensive, so I’m always looking for a deal. Here are the best day-to-night dresses I’ve seen for under-$75.

ModCloth Emerald Dress ($59)

Sentimental NY Elbow Sleeve Sweater Dress ($38)

Leith Dolman Sweater Dress ($69)

Chaps Jersey Faux Wrap ($69)

Eliza J Ribbed Dress ($71)

Soprano Plus-Size Lace Sleeve Dress ($59)

Petite Suite 7 Dress ($59)

ASOS Maternity Puff Sleeve ($51)

These are all such good options! I just ordered a lace dress, but if it doesn’t work, I am definitely going to order one of these!

Belle, you posted that same Chaps dress a few years ago and I ordered it from Kohls in blue. And then immediately went back and ordered in black and red. It is the best dress ever! BEST DRESS EVER! It fits great, can be worn year round (if you add tights and a jacket), never wrinkles, is not too low cut for my largeish chest (no cami underneath needed, and looks as new as the first day i bought it. Highly recommend! And I see they’ve added two new colors….

I have never thought this before but I wish that maternity dress was regular size! So cute!

Since Sloane was born, I’ve fallen hard into a black, white, and blue wardrobe. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but as spring blooms, I need a little color in my wardrobe (and probably a little print too). Here are a few tops that caught my eye for work.

The Find: My Best Workout Shorts

For eight years, I have worn the same workout shorts. Every year, an influencer tries to sell me new shorts. I order them. I try them on. They pale in comparison to the shorts I already own. I return them.
