State of the Blog: Out of Office

Aug 30, 2017

Ladies,

I am off this week for the holiday, and also for my sanity.  Maybe it’s getting older, or just shifting priorities, but working full-time and blogging full-time is not the cake walk it was when I was 29.  So K and I are headed to Whitefish, Montana (aka. The Last Best Place) for some lake time.

The Work Edit will be back next Tuesday with new September picks and the start of our fall wardrobe content.  Scarves, boots and jackets, oh my!

See you soon; have a safe and fun Labor Day.  And please, if you can, donate to those struggling after Hurricane Harvey.

xo, Abra

Was just there last week! Enjoy.

Ah, Whitefish. It truly is the last best place. If you need recs, the breakfast at Loula’s is superb (so is the pie) and the rooftop bar at Casey’s can’t be missed. Enjoy!

I have tried to subscribe to your new post updates and the Workday Reading several times in the past couple of weeks, but haven’t received anything in my inbox. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks!

It’s allegedly spring. However, for every minute of sunshine, there seems to be an hour of rain and gloom. So while I’d love to wear lighter spring pieces, it’s time to bring on the layers.

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
