Today is my last official day of law school. I still have a few extern hours to complete, and a case to close, but this is my last exam.
I’m usually not one of those people who wonders where the time went, but I feel like I blinked and it was over. At times, law school was nightmarish. At other times, it was exactly where I wanted to be.
Some of you have written in looking for tips on getting into law school, surviving it, excelling at it, and I’ll write about it more in depth at some point. But for now, I just need to get through these last few days.
Back tomorrow. xoxo, Belle

Happy last day! Seems like just yesterday that you left DC!

Congratulations! I planned to spend 2 years in grad school and took 5 years to finish, so I admire your ability to stick to the schedule!
yay! congratulations!
Congratulations! Are you taking the bar exam? I haven’t read mention of it, so I just wondered if that was on the horizon.
YAY Belle! Congratulations girl!
Congratulations, Belle!
Oh, man – you have my congratulations! I’m also wrapping up an intensive masters degree (while working full time) and my final report/presentation are tomorrow. I cannot WAIT to be done and have a life again. Enjoy your freedom!
I felt the exact same! Savour this time Belle, it’s the eerie silence after the chaos just before the real work starts! 🙂
Congratulations! Congratulations and thank you for maintaining such a high standard of blogging throughout!
Congratulations! Be sure to give yourself time to rest, celebrate and enjoy this time- you’ve earned it!
CONGRATULATIONS!
Congratulations!
Congratulations and keep on keepin’ on! 🙂
Congratulations! You are an amazing lady. I love your blog and am so happy you’ve kept it up during school.
Congratulations!!!
Congratulations on your last official day of school!
Congratulations! As a practicing attorney, I am eager to hear what you think once you start your legal career. I don’t know if I am becoming more jaded or if people are becoming more rude, but I don’t know that I enjoy my job as much as I once did. I am a litigation attorney so it is contentious by its nature, but the way in which attorneys treat one another makes the practice miserable at times.
Congratulations!!
Congratulations!!! It honestly does feel like time flew by since you started. You should be proud of yourself and treat yourself to something wonderful to celebrate!
Congrats! I’ve been reading your blog since the mid/late-2000s, way back when I was trying to figure out how to dress for my (then) new job. Along the way I’ve felt a bit like your cheering section as you made different career moves and your blog evolved over time. (And I’ve felt like you are cheering your readers on too, as we all figure out how to be both professional and fabulous.) Can’t wait to see where life takes you next.
Congratulations, Belle! Thanks as always for sharing so much with us.
Congratulations! I had that exact same feeling on my last day of law school. Savor this moment – you EARNED it!
