#WorkWednesday: Bring on Spring

Apr 13, 2016

Every Wednesday, the morning post will feature an outfit for work.  Today’s ensemble comes from Banana Republic.  It mixes a printed pencil with a simple blouse and fun necklace to create an easy spring look.

If you must have a cardigan, try this teal one from LL Bean to pick up the teal accent in the skirt.

From Left, White Crepe Top ($58) // Hedy Slingback ($128) // Focal Necklace ($59) // Mosaic Pencil Skirt ($98) // Classic Trench ($228)

Banana is also offering an extra 40% off sale items.  I love this fringe sweater jacket for chilly days.  This berry-colored pullover is the perfect pencil skirt pairing.  And for a bit of shine, don’t miss this sparkle crossover ring.

Would you tuck in the blouse with a pencil skirt?

Hi Belle, great post! Looks like that white crepe top is sold out. Do you have any other suggestions for white/beige tops that would go well under a pencil skirt? I’d like one with a 1/4 or 1/2 sleeve that’s slightly fitted. Thanks!

Beauty Review: Bondi Boost

As I age, I notice many changes in my body. Most are fine. Some are frustrating. Like many women, I lost a lot of hair in my postpartum phase. Being anemic for more than a year after, it didn’t grow back in to its former glory. So I’ve tried any number of shampoos, pills and […]

I remember when Rochelle Behrens launched The Shirt — a button-down blouse with anti-gape technology (a patented internal button that keeps the look smooth). The Mondays: March 18, 2024

This weekend was a tricky one. The warm weather and bright sunshine of last weekend disappeared in a flurry of wet snow trapping our very active 18-month-old in the house with us. Plus, our babysitter cancelled, so neither of us feels ready for the week ahead. But in between making mac-and-cheese and watching Aristocats for […]
