Morning Line: January 11

Rent the Runway allows women to rent dresses, clothes, and accessories for special occasions.  A few times per year, they offer their wares for sale at a deep discount off the retail price.  And this season’s clearance sale is definitely worth a look.

Gigi New York Hayden Satchel ($595 retail, $299 on sale)

The pieces are used but generally in good or like new condition.  If you want to avoid concerns about buying used clothing, the accessories offer some amazing deals, like this Gigi New York bag.  I also love this tangerine Annabell Ingalls clutch.  And the sale has a good selection of Kate Spade bags including this lizard-print Liberty Street bag.

Jewelry is another great option.  I love this discounted Lulu Frost Apex bracelet.  For a piece that could be worn to any occasion–cocktail or casual–try this Eddie Borgo inlaid bracelet.

Looking for dresses and gowns?  They have a lot of them on offer.  I loved this green, silky gown from Raoul with its necklace halter.

I was hoping for a Golden Globes Red Carpet review…is that not happening this year? I love dishing about the dresses!

I rented that Gigi satchel a while back, and I LOVED it. Still too much $$ for me to spend right now, but it’s a great bag.

The Find: My Best Workout Shorts

For eight years, I have worn the same workout shorts. Every year, an influencer tries to sell me new shorts. I order them. I try them on. They pale in comparison to the shorts I already own. I return them.
