1) The surprising power of being okay with your body. (Greatist)

2) This ASOS Zip Pocket Tote, in black and nude, has a chic look for only $52.  Worth every penny.

3) Welcome to Our Year of Radical Honesty, a satirical look at what happens when a family stops pretending. (Razed)

4) Are you leather shoes taking a beating in the winter weather?  Try Kiwi’s Protect All Rain and Stain Repellant.

5) For a healthy meal to help you get your greens, try this delicious veggie bowl. (Making it Missoula)

6) Madewell has some unique, cool jewelry.  I love this hinge cuff with green agate accents.  This lapis lariat necklace and this cage ring are both worth a look.

7) The best time of year to buy almost anything. (PureWow)

8) I love a pair of cool sneakers.  These blush and gold ones from Brooks are pretty.  I also like these deep plum sneakers from Reebok.

9) Where I try to be cool by reading what young people think are the hot words for 2016. (MTV)

10) Want a bright dress to add some pop to your winter wardrobe?  Try this Giani Bini Farah Popover dress.

11) The surgeon who used love, money, and the Pope to scam an NBC news producer. (Vanity Fair)

12) I broke my fast and bought these sexy, 40%-off Roxie pumps from J.Crew.  They were just too sexy to leave behind.  They also make this style in a flat.

that vanity fair article is fascinating!

  2. Monica says:

What stands out to me about the Vanity Fair article is the poor little girl who died, and her grieving parents and how they must feel to know that this extreme con man is still living his life apparently unconcerned by the lives he has destroyed.

I’ve known and loved compulsive liars, so while my embarrassment might have been less public than I’m sure she’s experiencing, I understand what she must be feeling.

What a psycho. What a tragedy for the people who trusted him.

  3. BN says:

Is there a good weather protector for suede shoes? Thanks!

The Find: A Miracle T-Shirt

Remember when clothes didn’t suck? The years were the late-90s and early-aughts. Jeans stretched a little, but were mostly cotton. Cashmere was soft and heavy and durable. Poly-blends were only sold at the giant teens stores on the lower level of the mall. And t-shirts were thick, not see-through, and wore like iron. Your first […]
