Morning Line: December 8

Dec 8, 2015

Holiday parties out West are decided less formal.  But why let a more casual dress code keep you from being festive and fabulous?  Bring the spirit into your holiday with some sparkly flats.

J.Crew Sloan Glitter Flat ($158)

While my love for The Crew has waned significantly, I continue to have good luck with the quality and fit of their shoes.  I no longer buy anything else there, but the two pairs of shoes I bought this year I really like.

Love the pointed toe on that first pair! I have an inexpensive (from, of all places, PAYLESS) pair of non-pointed cool gold glitter flats that I wore for dancing at my wedding and I love them. They’re really fun with jeans, too, if you’re looking to expand your occasions for wear.

Belle – you need a “like” button on your posts! I love these and this idea.

  3. Dee says:

LOVE sparkly flats – gotta have comfort and glitz for a standing cocktail party. I’m short but would rather be comfortable than be tall.

  4. Karen says:

Just an FYI: the Sloan flats from J. Crew run about a 1/2 size big. But they are SUPER cute and the quality is good.

The Range: Spring Blouses for Work (or Zoom)

Since Sloane was born, I’ve fallen hard into a black, white, and blue wardrobe. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but as spring blooms, I need a little color in my wardrobe (and probably a little print too). Here are a few tops that caught my eye for work.
